Drone Company In New York City (NYC)
We provide drone services for production companies, agencies and filmmakers in New York City. You know how difficult it has been if you have tried drone filming in New York City. There are time-consuming permits, and the airspace is pretty limited. There isn’t much time for error if you are working under a deadline.
We are one of the drone companies NYC productions call when they need aerial footage done right. We have worked in all five boroughs, dealt with the permit process numerous times, and know how to coordinate with the NYPD and FAA without slowing down your shoot. Most of our clients are repeat business or referrals, which tells you what you need to know.
Whether you are shooting a commercial in Manhattan, a feature film in Brooklyn, or an event in Queens, we handle the logistics so you can focus on the creative. Getting an NYC drone permit isn't something you figure out the week of your shoot, we start that process early and make sure everything's cleared before your shoot.
Why NYC Drone Services Require Local Expertise
Drone flying in New York City can be challenging. The airspace is congested with helicopters, multiple airports, and federal buildings; without proper knowledge of this complex system you may waste valuable time or even be denied outright. The drone permit NYC process involves both the NYPD and the FAA. You need flight plans, precinct coordination, and airspace authorization, none of it happens quickly. These all take weeks. When you hire experienced drone companies NYC productions trust, you're getting someone who's done this repeatedly and knows how to move things along without delays.
Drone Services
We provide full drone services for productions shooting across the country. You no need to rent or buy any equipment. You are hiring a crew that handles permits, flights, and delivery. Drone services cover commercials, films, real estate documentation, corporate videos and live event coverage.
Every project has different requirements. A car commercial needs precise camera moves and timing. Real estate shoots focus on clean framing that shows the property and location. Films might require tracking shots or dramatic aerials that match the story. Corporate work is usually straightforward, show the building, the campus, or the event from above.
Permits, insurance, and licensed operators are part of every drone service. Some locations require weeks of advance work to get clearances. Others move faster. Weather affects scheduling, and airspace restrictions change how flights get planned. We have years of experience across different locations and regulations. It means we offer the best drone services with fewer problems and smoother shoots, no matter where the work is.
We Handle Your NYC Drone Permit
The process of getting a drone permit NYC involves dealing with both FAA and the NYPD along with the FAA and neither is quick. The NYPD requires a flight plan as well as proof of insurance and information about the filming. Based on the location you're shooting, you might have to speak to the precinct in your area. The FAA regulates airspace authorization and it can take a few weeks or days, based on the area. Manhattan always takes longer. We start the permit process as soon as you hire us. We know what paperwork they actually want and how much time to build in. If your location's going to be a problem, we'll figure that out early and either fix it or suggest somewhere else. You shouldn't have to deal with this, we handle it so your shoot stays on track.
Boroughs & Areas We Serve
Manhattan
Due to airspace restrictions and the large number of physical obstructions, flying into Manhattan is one of the most challenging boroughs. Extra coordination is needed for me dialing down Manhattan and for areas close to Central Park. We have been operating all over the island, and know the areas that take longer to clear.
Brooklyn
Brooklyn is a lot easier than Manhattan in most areas. However, the areas around the waterfront or airports are more complicated. We've taken photos at Williamsburg, DUMBO, Park Slope, and farther out to Bushwick and Sunset Park without major issues.
Queens
Queens is under the heavy air traffic of LaGuardia and JFK Airspace approval is contingent on the location of your. Our Drone company in New York shot in Long Island City, Astoria and Flushing. Some areas move more quickly than others.
Bronx
The Bronx is usually less crowded in comparison to Manhattan and Queens. We've worked close to Yankee Stadium, along the waterfront as well as in residential zones. Permits are still required, the process is generally faster.
Staten Island
Staten Island has the fewest restrictions among all five Boroughs. We have shot residential buildings and commercial places without any of the repercussions you encounter with Manhattan as well as Brooklyn.
